Celebration under the Moon

“May we live long and share the beauty of the moon together, even if we are hundreds of miles apart.” – Su Shi

One of the most significant Chinese cultural celebrations, the “Celebration Under the Moon” will invite members of HCJ, supporters, and members of the local Chinese Community to gather in remembrance of the legend of Chang’e, bask under the moonlight, and sample traditional (and modern!) mooncakes, teas, and other Mid-Autumn Festival delicacies. Although we will be celebrating a night after the holiday date, on the night of Mid-Autumn Festival (Sept 10), do not forget to look into the deep night sky and admire the beautiful full moon.

Includes Mooncake sampling, tea tasting, moon gazing, and Chinese music.
