General Membership Meeting April 2022
Location: Anaha Theater Room
Presenter: HCJ member and Bike and Pedestrian Planner, Kent Yang
Title: Understanding City/Urban Planning and its Impact
Topic: City Planning
Summary of Topic: Learn what I do as we discuss the importance of city planning and its role in Honolulu and the state
General Membership Meeting (GMM) occurs on the 3rd Tuesday of each month. The GMM is a great way to find out what is going on with Honolulu Chinese Jaycees (HCJ) in a given month.
Our GMMs provide individual, professional, or community development presentations as well as guest speakers from Honolulu community organizations and government officials at our meetings. Project chairpersons report out on current and upcoming projects.
The GMM also provides members with the opportunity to catch up with each other and meet newer members either at the meeting or a social event afterwards. Guests are more than welcome to attend to see what we’re all about!
About Us: HCJ is an organization comprised of young active citizens age 18-40 who are engaged and committed to creating an impact in their communities.
*MASKS AND SOCIAL DISTANCING ARE REQUIRED. Vaccination cards may be requested upon entry or a recent negative test result
